Send your child back in time to gain the training of knighthood in our 5 day adventure camp this summer. Each day of the camp is focused around an aspect of knightly training, from martial skills such as the longsword, and sword and shield, to the practice of knightly virtues such as generosity and fairness. Students will learn history, battlefield skills such as strategy and tactics, and the knowledge that all knights would possess from heraldry to medieval games. Academie Duello provides a safe and engaging environment for boys and girls ages 8 - 14 of any level of physical ability. Safety and Control

We place a firm emphasis on safety and learning while keeping students excited and engaged. Your child will first develop control and awareness on their own, then engage in drilling and sparring with their peers.

Equipment Requirements

Swords and basic protective equipment are provided. Attendees are required to wear comfortable workout clothing, footwear, and snug fitting leather or cotton gloves. Rigid elbow and knee pads are also required, such as those used for rollerblading. It is also important that each child has a waterbottle to stay hydrated.

Before and After Care

To make things easier for our parents with work and life schedules to contend with, we provide before and after care starting at 8:30am each morning and from 3:30 to 5:30pm each day.

Kids in before and after care are welcome to work on activities provided during the camp, play games, or bring their own activities from home. This will be largely self-directed time with adult supervision but don't worry they'll have plenty to keep them occupied after each day of camp!
