Try a free lesson nowThe Warrior Fitness Program combines swordplay with modern fitness training to create a workout that is both physically and mentally engaging. Imagine a gladiator training ground with a modern fitness twist.
Each class combines conditioning and circuit training with technical training in swordplay focused primarily on the longsword and also including sword and shield, spear, and unarmed. Students start with learning the basics of posture, attack, defence, and movement and build up to more sophisticated and physically demanding techniques as they advance.
Warrior Fitness works as either a partnered program in the evenings starting with Warrior Fundamentals and graduating to SwordFit, or as a solo morning program, SwordFit: Bootcamp.
Is the Warrior Fitness Program Right for Me?
The Warrior Fitness program is excellent for those who:
- Are looking for a form of fitness that is exciting and not monotonous.
- Are interested primarily in learning the heavier weapons including Longsword, Sword and Shield, and Spear.
- Enjoy focusing on one technique at a time and having the opportunity to rigorously test it.
- Want to challenge themselves to get fit and learn an exciting new skill.
Warrior participants may also be interested in taking Focus Classes in sidesword and longsword. Although part of the Weapons Mastery Program, Focus Classes are open to anyone in the Warrior Fitness Program as well.
