Sign Up NowThere will be four categories of tournament, with each category supporting three tournaments. Categories are divided by either weapon or experience level, as follows:
Open Sidesword
The cut-and-thrust tournament will allow for one single-hand sword and one secondary, which may be a bucker, small shield, or dagger. Suitable styles are wide ranging, including bolognese, broadsword, backsword, and I.33.
The sidesword tournament is open to participants of all skill levels according to the entry requirements.
Open Longsword
The longsword tournament is suitable for all students of the sword in two hands, whether it’s the German, Italian, or English schools.
The longsword tournament is open to participants of all skill levels according to the entry requirements.
Beginner Rapier
The duelling sword of the 16th and 17th centuries, the rapier is considered by many to be the pinnacle of the single-combat duelling sword.
The beginner rapier tournament is open to beginners according to the entry requirements.
Open Rapier
Although the rapier on its own can be a deadly weapon, the majority of historical masters teach its use paired with a dagger in the other hand.
The open rapier tournament is open to participants of all skill levels according to the entry requirements. All fights may be fought with sword alone or sword and dagger at each participant’s discretion.
