Job Opportunities at Academie Duello

Greetings all!
Academie Duello is looking to fill a couple exciting positions: one instructor and one volunteer. Please consider these postings yourself and pass them along to anyone who you feel might be a great fit.

SwordFit Coach & Instructor

Academie Duello is looking for a dynamic, fit, and charismatic teacher to be the face of SwordFit. The right candidate for this job will head up our early morning SwordFit Bootcamp in the new year and play an instructional and developmental role in forthcoming SwordFit materials and programs. An ideal candidate is someone who has a desire to be involved at the development stages of a new program and is excited about new and engaging forms of fitness.

A candidate does not have to have any prior western martial arts experience. Strong physical attributes and an aptitude for learning martial skills is a must. Comfort with being the centre of attention, role model, and leader are essential. Prior experience as a dance/martial arts instructor, personal trainer, or fitness professional is an asset. We will provide all the proprietary training required.

This will be a part time position to start with significant opportunities for expansion for the right candidate.

Community Events Coordinator - Volunteer Position

Academie Duello is an awesome social place with a great crowd of people. We have had great events in the past at and surrounding the studio, but with the amount of work required to keep our school running smoothly some of the best school social opportunities are passing us by.

We are looking for a student or friend of Academie Duello who wants to help make Duello an even more fun and social place by stepping into a volunteer position as a part time Community Events Coordinator. In this role you would be responsible for helping facilitate and organize Academie Duello parties, events, and get togethers for our students and friends of the school. This could be anything from coordinating an Academie Duello movie night or games day, to helping orchestrate our school Christmas party.

This is a great opportunity to become part of the Academie Duello team, learn new skills, work with great people, and help make the future life and health of our Academie bright and long.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, coordinating events and volunteers, and is organized and self-directed. Some revenue share opportunities could also exist for a candidate who is interested in promoting public events and spectacles in cooperation with Duello.

If you are interested and believe you are a good fit for either of these roles, please send your resume or qualifications to me directly: devon at academieduello dot com
