Mounted Combat Program to Include Elephant Combat

An exciting announcement was made at today's Mounted Combat workshop. Academie Duello in cooperation with the Botswana's Chobe National Park Association and Red Colt Equestrian Co-op is going to be housing two displaced African Grey Elephants in Richmond, BC.

Wildlife experts who were looking for space for two displaced elephants, originally intended for the Greater Vancouver Zoo, came across our farm while looking for a suitable alternate home. This will probably be a temporary arrangement but for the moment we will have the opportunity to work with these awesome animals and offer some unique programs never before seen in North America.

Starting in April as part of our Riding and Horsemanship program, attendees will be able to build fundamentals of elephant riding, elepant care and maintenance, as well as elephant-back spear throwing.

Look forward to more announcements and some photos and videos as our new friends move in.
