Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service. The technologies We use may include:

  • Cookies or Browser Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on Your Device. You can instruct Your browser to refuse all Cookies or to indicate when a Cookie is being sent.
  • Web Beacons. Certain sections of our Service and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons that permit the Company to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email.
  • Server-Side Event Tracking. In addition to browser-based tracking, We send certain events — in particular, completed bookings — directly from Our servers to Our advertising partners using technologies such as the Meta Conversions API. This data is transmitted server-to-server and is not affected by browser privacy controls, cookie settings, or ad blockers. Personal information sent through server-side tracking is hashed (using SHA-256) before transmission, making it cryptographically irreversible. See "Advertising, Analytics, and Measurement Partners" below for details on what is shared and with whom.

Cookies can be "Persistent" or "Session" Cookies. Persistent Cookies remain on Your personal computer or mobile device when You go offline, while Session Cookies are deleted as soon as You close Your web browser.

Sharing Your Personal Data

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, to contact You.
  • With Advertising, Analytics, and Measurement Partners: We share website activity and booking data with trusted partners such as Meta, Google, and LinkedIn to measure the effectiveness of Our advertising and improve how We reach new customers. Where personal information (such as Your email address or name) is shared with these partners, it is hashed before transmission. See the full list of partners and what is shared in the section below.
  • For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company.

Advertising, Analytics, and Measurement Partners

We work with trusted advertising and analytics partners to measure how effective Our marketing is, attribute bookings to the advertising campaigns that generated them, and improve the relevance of the ads We show. When We share personal information with these partners, that information is first hashed using the SHA-256 algorithm. Hashing is a one-way cryptographic process: once hashed, the original value cannot be recovered. Hashed data is used by the partner only to match You against existing records on their platform for measurement and attribution, and is not stored by them in its original, readable form. Our current partners and what We share with each:

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — Meta Pixel and Conversions API. We use both the browser-based Meta Pixel and the server-side Meta Conversions API to share website activity and booking events with Meta. Browser events (such as page views) are sent from Your browser while You use Our website. When You complete a booking through Our Bookeo booking system, We additionally send a server-side event containing hashed versions of Your email address, first name, and last name, along with Your IP address, browser user agent, and Meta's own browser identifiers (the _fbp and, if present, _fbc cookies). Meta uses this information to measure the effectiveness of Our ads, attribute bookings to the specific ad campaigns that generated them, and show Our ads to people likely to be interested in Our services. You can review and manage how Meta uses this data at Meta's Ad Preferences page and learn more about Meta's data practices in Meta's Privacy Policy.
  • Google — Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use Our website, and Google Ads to measure the effectiveness of Our Google advertising. Google may receive Your IP address, information about the pages You visit on Our site, and a unique identifier assigned by Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at Google Analytics Opt-Out and review Google's practices in the Google Privacy Policy.
  • LinkedIn — Insight Tag. We use LinkedIn's Insight Tag to measure the effectiveness of Our LinkedIn advertising for corporate and team-building audiences. LinkedIn may receive Your IP address and information about the pages You visit on Our site. See the LinkedIn Privacy Policy for details.
  • MailerLite — Newsletter Delivery. When You subscribe to Our newsletter, Your email address and any optional profile information You provide are transmitted to MailerLite, which hosts Our mailing lists and delivers Our newsletters on Our behalf. MailerLite is a data processor acting on Our instructions and does not use Your information for its own advertising.
  • Bookeo — Adventure Bookings. When You book an Adventure experience with Us, Your contact information and payment details are processed by Bookeo, Our booking platform provider. Bookeo processes this information on Our behalf to facilitate Your booking and payment.

Your choices. You can limit browser-based tracking by enabling privacy features in Your browser (such as Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention, Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection, or Chrome's privacy settings), installing an ad blocker extension, or clearing Your cookies. Please note that server-side tracking (such as events sent via the Meta Conversions API) bypasses these browser-level controls because it is transmitted directly from Our servers. If You wish to opt out of server-side data sharing specifically, or request that We delete personal information We hold about You, please contact Us using the details at the bottom of this page and We will honour Your request in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that transfer.

Delete Your Personal Data

You may update, amend, or delete Your information at any time by signing in to Your Account and visiting the account settings section. You may also contact Us to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that You have provided to Us.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
