Beginner Longsword
Train like a medieval knight. Learn the powerful art of the two-handed longsword, sword & shield, and poleaxe.
The longsword has been called "the great equalizer"—where technique, speed, and dexterity triumph over raw strength.
In this course, you'll learn the Italian martial art of Armizare as taught by Fiore dei Liberi around 1410. You'll master guards, cuts, thrusts, and the flowing movement that made the longsword the iconic weapon of medieval Europe.
8 one-hour classes on Mondays and Wednesdays (4 weeks) or 8 one-hour classes on Saturdays (8 weeks).
