Public Health Closure December 23rd to January 18th

Dear Academie Duello Members and Customers,

Due to the public health orders in effect from December 23rd to January 18th, we are required to cancel all adult group classes and bookings during this time.

We will, however, be able to continue our Youth program, Knight Academie, for its winter term beginning January 8, as well as individual and in-bubble private sessions. These can be booked through our front desk.

For our Adult tuition paying members we will be ramping up our online offerings while we are closed. We appreciate your continued support and want to help all of you stay connected to your practice in the coming weeks. We will be publishing our full schedule of online classes on the 28th. Stay tuned!

If you do need to put your tuition on-hold, please contact us by email at info@academieduello.com.

You can also access on-demand video courses through our online school Duello.TV. There are over 400 online classes on the arts of the rapier, longword, sidesword, polearms, grappling and more. Many of them are ideal for solo practice and study. All Academie Duello tuition-paying members are eligible for free or discounted access for the month of January. See the Facebook group for details.

As always, your support is sincerely appreciated during these difficult closures, and in case you’re in a place to offer yours, here are some ways you can give us some extra love:

  • Keep your tuition active without pause.
  • Drop into a Zoom class whenever you can.
  • Subscribe to Duello.TV for full price, half off, or free.
  • Purchase gift certificates.
  • Follow and engage with us on social media.
  • Sign up for email updates about Academie Duello here.
  • Sign-up for the 2022 30-for-30 Swordplay Challenge starting on January 2nd to help keep your home practice alive. 30 minutes of swordplay practice for 30 days in January!
  • Keep up your practice and stay connected to the community.

Hang in there, we can do this! The best way to move through this is together, swords in hand.
