It's going to be a full weekend down at Red Colt, with Games Practice, Horseback Archery, and Mounted Combat, Friday through Sunday May 2nd - 4th.
Mounted Games Practice
Our weekly Games Practice starts up again this month, and will run every Friday from 5 - 7pm right up until Carosella in mid-September. This is an open practice. Riders must have Riding level 1 or equivalent to participate. Pony Club & MGA riders welcome.
Dates: Fridays 5-7pm, 2 May - 12 Sept
Time: 5-7pm
Prerequisites: Riding Level 1 or equivalent
Cost: Academie Duello members: $5 with own/leased horse; $15 with use of school horse.
Non members: $25
Horseback Archery
The Beginner Horseback Archery from 10am - 1pm is full, but get yourself on the waitlist in case there are dropouts. There are a few spaces left in the Intermediate session.
Horseback Archery – Intermediate
This workshop is intended for those who have already taken Beginner Horseback Archery. We will spend about an hour on the ground refreshing our shooting skills, then move to horseback for the remainder of the workshop.
Date: Saturday 3 May, 2pm – 5pm

Prerequisites: Beginner Horseback Archery plus Riding Level 1 or equivalent

Intro to Mounted Combat
A taste of everything in the program. Learn about grooming and tacking up, get some swordplay fundamentals, and ride a horse with sword in hand. There are only a few spaces left in this workshop.
Date: Sunday 4 May, 10am – 1pm

Prerequisites: none
Cost: $149
Mounted Combat Workshop
Swordplay from the ground, the falsemount, and from horseback. In this workshop we spend about an hour on the ground working on our swordplay. At 2pm we tack up horses and work from the ground and horseback. Riders must have a minimum of riding level 1 to work from the horse.

Prerequisites: Intro to Mounted Combat or permission from the instructor
