Raise the Roof!

You are invited to a good old-fashioned barn raising!

Okay - we're not raising a whole barn, but we are building a new shedrow shelter for our horses and we need a whole lot of talented, strong, wonderful people like YOU to help us!
If you haven't been able to join us for a work party before now is the time! Enjoy the fine weather -- and the even finer company -- and we'll provide some beers, pop and pizza for everyone helping out.

You're welcome to come on either or both days, and stay for however long you can. Whether its a few hours or the whole day, we are happy to have as much help as we can get. Bring your friends and family members! Extra shovels, ladders, and carpentry tools (labelled with your name) will be appreciated too.

Vaulting!

A new vaulting club has opened up in Richmond, at the former site of Centreline Stables on No 3 Road.  The girls and I went over yesterday for a one hour lesson and had loads of fun.  It was the first time vaulting for all of us, and by the end of the lesson we were doing the 'flag', the 'V' and standing at the walk, as well as kneeling at the canter.  If there is enough interest I can book a group lesson for Duello members - or you can book lessons on your own at 604 618 9723.
