It's that time of year again--time to dust off your costumes, gorge yourself on sweet stuff and then work it off swordfighting and rocking out with your friends!
Details
This coming Saturday, October 27th, join us at Academie Duello from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. for a Hallowe'en Cabaret featuring:
- a Pumpkin Carving Contest
- a Costume Contest
- a Cash Bar
- a Live Peformance from The Figures (featuring our own Swordfit Coach and Youth Instructor, Master Roseblade)
- and, of course, Swordplay!

Tickets
Advance tickets will be available through the Academie Duello Front Desk during its store hours for $12.00 +HST. Otherwise, you may purchase tickets at the door for $15.00.
Volunteering
If your spirit is willing but you are short on funds, do not despair! Send Darren an e-mail at cnat.chair at gmail.com to inquire about volunteer positions. We still need some people for set up, take down, and the door, so if you want to put some time in we'd love to work with you.

Devon Boorman is the Co-Founder and Director of Academie Duello Centre for Swordplay, which has been active in Vancouver, Canada since 2004. Devon’s expertise centres on the Italian swordplay tradition including the arts of the Renaissance Italian rapier, sidesword, and longsword, as well as knife and unarmed techniques.
