Post 30 for 30 Swordplay Training Challenges

Congratulations to everyone who made it all the way through the 30 for 30 Swordplay Challenge last month, whether you hit every day or missed a few! It's a pretty cool feat to up your training to any degree and set a new habit that reflects your goals. I hit every day and got a lot out of it and I was thrilled to have so many people from all over the world joining in and supporting each other.

Now that June is done, I'm looking to the next challenge. If you've read the Facebook event you know that I've joined the admin team of HEMA time, a Facebook group devoted to training challenges like the 30 for 30. Jack Gassman, has just posted up a whole series of different types of ongoing challenges that people may choose to adopt in their post 30 for 30 world. Some ideas include "The Talhoffer Challenge" where you follow the ancient fight master's advice of training 2 hours every morning and evening for 6 weeks, and the "Training on Go Challenge" where you commit to a simple 10 minutes of swordplay each day. I recommend taking a look at his post and joining the HEMA time group to share your personal training goals and progress.

What type of challenge do you want to set for yourself?
