What's Happening in the Wrestling Workshop Tomorrow

So I've polished up the last parts of my outline for the Abrazare workshop tomorrow and it's going to be a great one.

In the first part students will be learning the fundamentals of striking in the Italian system including hammer fists and open hand strikes. We'll be using strikes and counters to strikes to enter into grappling range against our opponent and then working through tactical exercises that will lead us through breaks, binds, and throws based on their reactions.

After we've worked some fundamentals of hand to hand the second part will add daggers to the equation first starting with empty hand vs dagger, building to dagger vs dagger, and then finally dagger vs sword.

Once we have a sword in our hand, we'll move into the third part and look at sword vs sword in unarmoured situations and then in armoured situations.

Students will learn how to apply the core actions we approached in the first hour using each of the weapon combinations and following a universal strategic approach.

Workshop starts at 3pm.
